By Kimii Nagata
Let not harsh tongues, that wag
in vain,
Discourage you. In spite of
pain,
Be like the cactus, which through
rain,
And storm, and thunder,
remain.
Kimii Nagata was a child in a Japanese internment camp in the United States.
